Tracy McGrady made it through a full practice today.  Though he admits he still needs to work on his game having been away for so long, he says he’s ready to play.  It’ll be interesting to see how the Rockets respond and how they plan to utilize him without hurting the team’s chemistry.  We don’t recommend picking him up yet until there’s a firm date on his return.

Tracy McGrady is now the subject of trade talks.  New York Knicks, reportedly, is interested in T-Mac.  This is an interesting development because the reason the Knicks say they’re not interested in Allen Iverson is because they wanted to let their younger players develop.  Bringing T-Mac to the Knicks would completely contradict what they’re saying.

The drama never ends when it comes to Tracy McGrady.  The rumors are swirling about whether McGrady’s healthy enough to come back and play.  Some believe Rockets want to keep McGrady inactive so that they can continue collecting insurance money on McGrady.  Rockets say that McGrady’s not healthy enough to come back just yet.  The truth probably lies somewhere in between.  The latest report on McGrady is that he has a sore back which forced him to miss practice and pre-game warm-ups.  If McGrady’s on your Waiver Wire, keep him there.  There’s no point in picking him up until we see the results from his MRI scheduled this week.
